Located on the south-eastern slopes of the Maiella mountains in the Aventino River valley, there's Taranta Peligna, a little town valued by the Nature with sites and natural beauties that make it unique around near lands. Here we have lands cited by italian poet Gabriele d'Annunzio, tourist goals and traditions, that are very deep among the people. Handicraft and productive activities made, in the past, the interest of this town.
